This 85 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by a Mohs surgeon for reconstruction of a large, complex nasal defect following the removal of a recurrent basal cell cancer. The defect included a significant amount of nasal skin, cartilage and nasal lining. Dr. Parker reconstructed this defect using nasal lining flaps, septal cartilage which he carved to simulate tip cartilage and restore shape to the tip, and a forehead flap to recreate skin cover. The patient and her daughter were extremely appreciative of the reconstruction back toward a normal looking nose.
